Price Guidelines

MAP: Minimum Advertised Price or MAP Policy is in place for our program. The MAP price is the lowest price you are allowed to advertise our product for sale on your website. We have a Domestic MAP and International MAP policy. Our international MAP policy is given to our international customers; however, on both the Domestic MAP and the International MAP are listed on our drop ship feeds. The Domestic MAP is enforced for all drop ship customers. MSRP: Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price is also included.


We have made an order template for you to fill out and email us at the end of every business day if you have any orders. Your credit card will be charged the Drop Ship (DS) Cost and the item will be shipped to your customer within 2 business days of receipt of order form. The DS Cost is billed per customer order, not per individual item. When the order is shipped we will email you the tracking information on the order sheet you sent to us. There is no minimum order for our DS program. J Goodin Inc. is a blind drop shipper, meaning we will ship with your return address and company name listed on the package.


On the drop ship link, we provide an xml feed that can be plugged in to your ecommerce store. These inventory feeds are updated hourly. Programming knowledge is recommended for this feature.We also provide our inventory feeds on excel (.csv) format spreadsheets. These inventory feeds are updated hourly. Intermediate to advanced excel knowledge is recommended to use this feature.


The only method of payment we accept for our drop ship program is credit card. That includes american express, mastercard, visa, or discover card. You payments will be billed automatically every month. You may cancel your program subscription at any time.

If you would like for us to ship out any customer correspondence (thank you letter, return policy) simply include it as an attachment with your drop ship order.


All products ordered through our Drop Ship program will come complete with non-specific standard packaging. These are quality jewelry boxes and they will certainly add value to your customer purchases. Our packaging may change depending on availability with our supplier.

What is drop shipping?

A drop shipper is a manufacturer or authorized wholesale distributor who will ship your single item orders directly to your customers. You, the retailer, will be provided the marketing materials such as photos, descriptions, specs on your website. This product information (pictures, descriptions, specs) is sold at retail value. Once you receive an order you will email or call the drop ship supplier with the customer’s order information and they will in turn ship the product directly to your customer.

Do you ship internationally?

International business is a key area of growth for J. Goodin. As the US dollar has devalued against foreign currencies, it has made international buying from the US quite attractive. We ship our fashion jewelry products worldwide via USPS (United States Postal Service), our lowest cost option to date, and UPS.

How quickly do you ship an order once it’s placed?

Orders that arrive before 10am PST typically go out the same day. Orders that arrive after this time typically go out the next day. Shipping and payment confirmations may cause delays.

How long is the delivery process once an order is placed?

Once our shipping department receives your order, they will process and ship your order within 2 business days of receipt of your order form. Tracking information will be emailed back to you as well.

Will J. Goodin supply pictures of their products for my website?

We will supply you with one to four pictures of each product available for drop ship.

Can I use your photos?

All materials contained on this site are exclusively the property of J. Goodin, Inc. and may not be reproduced, modified, or distributed without our prior written permission. Use of our pictures is inherently granted in the following two circumstances:

  1. Customer has purchased the item from us previously.
  2. Customer has been approved for the Dropship Program.

Any use of the materials contained on this site must be for the sale or resale of J. Goodin, Inc. products.

Why did you decide to start drop shipping?

The concept of drop shipping was influenced largely by the Just-In-Time (JIT) movement in manufacturing; the concept of a reduced inventory became popular as a cost reduction method. In turn, reduced inventory in factories resulted in a lower risk and cost savings. Likewise, the retail world embraced similar benefits of an “on-demand” type of supply chain with drop shipping methods. Drop shipping with J Goodin will allow the retailer to cut inventory, labor, packaging, and shipping costs. This will enable you to focus your efforts on marketing your business to new and existing customers.

Are there disadvantages to drop shipping?

Yes. The biggest disadvantages are some of the following:

  1. Drop Shipper is in control of when an item is shipped. J Goodin’s policy is to ship within 48hrs of receipt of order form.
  2. Retailers must abide by minimum price requirements.
  3. If an item is discontinued by the wholesaler, the retailer has no control and must take that item off their catalog or website.
  4. Retailer must watch inventory feeds distributed by the wholesaler closely to ensure the products advertised for sale are in stock.

What are the advantages to drop shipping?

There are many ways to benefit from drop shipping. Some of the benefits are as follows:

  1. Overhead costs are cut significantly.
  2. You get to set the retail price at whatever you want for nice profits.
  3. There are no minimum order requirements.
  4. You pay the wholesaler only after you receive an order.

What kind of profit margins can I make with drop shipping?

Many wholesale companies will give a retailer between 25-75% discounts off suggested retail pricing (MSRP). The final agreed pricing model is between you and the wholesale distribut

What is a Minimum Advertised Price Policy (MAP)?

This is the lowest price you are allowed to advertise our products for sale at. A MAP policy is in place to prevent products from being sold below their wholesale price.

What is a blind drop shipper?

A blind drop shipper will ship product to your customers, under your name only. They will not have any of their information (i.e. company name, address, advertising…etc.) on the products they send to your customers. J Goodin, Inc. is a blind drop shippe

Why does J. Goodin need my credit card information on file?

We will need your credit card information on file so we can bill you for the products you order. Remember, as your customers pay you the retail cost of the products, you will need to pay the drop shipper for the wholesale cost of the products to be sent. It is easier for the drop shipper to simply bill your credit card.

Should my customers pay me first before I pay the drop shipper?

We recommend that you collect your customer’s payment before placing an order with us.

Do you Drop Ship internationally?

Yes, we do.

How fast can I start making money with drop shipping?

Much of this will depend on how well you have put together things in your business plan and on your website. Simply having products to sell on the internet usually will not make money without a solid strategy and marketing plan in place

Do I need a tax id or reseller number to sell products from J. Goodin?

Yes, in fact in order to buy from most reputable drop shippers, you will need to provide your tax id number. If your business is established in California, we will need your CA resale number too. We the wholesale drop shipper, need to show proof to the government that we can sell to you without charging you a sales tax.

Do you restrict the sale of your products on any marketplaces?

We have a 30-day return policy. Once approved, you will be have access to the full details of our drop ship policy.

Do you require a membership fee to participate in Drop Shipping?

Yes, the data feed usage and maintenance fee is only $15 and this fee gives you access to the data feeds for ALL our products excluding our branded lines and clearance items. Your membership fee is charged month-to-month. You may cancel at any time. If you choose to cancel, any subscription fees already paid are non-refundable and your account will remain active until the end of the paid subscription period.

Does J. Goodin require a minimum order requirement for the Drop Ship Program?

There is no minimum order requirement for our drop ship program.

Do you offer discounts for your drop ship program?

We do not offer any discounts off the wholesale price for our drop products. All products are sold at regular wholesale price.

What shipping methods to you offer for drop shipping and what is the cost?

All dropship orders are a flat fee of $5. If you need additional options listed below, please mention it in your order.

Are there any other fees besides the shipping fee and monthly membership?

No. Cost to become a member of our program is only $15 per month ($75 every 6 months also available), that's it!

Do I need to be proficient with any software or computer programs before applying for your drop ship program?

Our data feeds and order sheet are provided in excel and comma delimited (.CSV) format. If you do not have Microsoft Excel on your computer and/or are not proficient with Excel then you will not be able to submit orders and upload our products. Therefore, we strongly recommend working with a partner that knows Excel and is familiar with e-commerce that can help you.
